TRY A SIMPLE EXAMPLE

What does a sale leave you?

Per unit

Illustration assumes £8 in Amazon fees per unit. Net selling price is after discounts, refunds and sales tax. Other overheads are excluded.

Contribution per unit£14.0035.0% contribution margin

£40 − £14 − £8 − £4 = £14

GOOD QUESTIONS

A little more clarity.

All questions ↗
Is Reconcile Ready available now?

The software is in development. This website explains the planned product and lets you explore sample interfaces. Live Amazon and Xero connections are not available yet. Early-access enquiries will open once the contact details are confirmed.

How is a payout different from profit?

A payout is the cash Amazon transfers after fees, refunds, adjustments and funds it holds or releases. Profitability also needs costs such as the goods you sold and advertising. Different reporting dates mean a payout and a profit figure will not necessarily match.

Will Reconcile Ready complete bank reconciliation for me?

The planned workflow prepares mapped settlement entries for Xero and helps you identify the corresponding bank deposit. The final matching and approval workflow will be confirmed as the integration is developed. We are not claiming fully automatic bank reconciliation.

Where will product costs come from?

You will need to supply product purchase costs and relevant freight, duty and preparation charges. Amazon data alone does not include your complete cost of goods or business overheads. Missing inputs will need to be visible in reporting.
